Using social And Twitter To Market Your Ebook And Online Business
Social networking has made the process of marketing your eBook much easier. By having a presence on social and Twitter you can position yourself as an expert in your field in a very short time. Even while you are still writing your eBook, get started on these two social media sites and become the go-to person in your niche.
social now has more than one hundred million members, so the best way to let people know about you and your eBook is to start your own group. You can use the title of your eBook as the title of the group you create, provided it is filled with your keywords.
You can invite your social friends to join your group, but people will also be able to find your group by typing your keywords into Google or any other search engine. For example, if you type ebook writing and technology into Google, my social group is number one. How cool is that?
You will also want to create a page on social with the name of the eBook as the title. A page is separate from your profile in that it is specifically about your business or your product, which in this case is your eBook.
This page will also rank high in the search engines, but that is not the only way it will help people to find you and your eBook. When you create a page you can also import your blog’s RSS feed into the page. This means that every time you make a post to your blog it will automatically be syndicated into Facebook. Even though you can do this in other areas of Facebook, being able to import your blog, where you are writing about your niche topic, will give your eBook even more exposure.
My strong recommendation is that you purchase a domain name that is the same as the name of your eBook, and then forward that domain to your page on Facebook. Your blog’s domain name can be something very similar, or it can be exactly the same with a different extension. For example, your blog may end with dot come, whereas your social page may end with dot net. This is a great way to take full advantage of your keywords, while branding your name and your niche at the same time.
Twitter is the other major player in the social networking arena. You can set up your account to automatically tweet your blog posts at certain times each day. When you write about your eBook in one of your blog posts, anyone who is following you on Twitter will see what you have written.
Even though you are limited to 140 characters with each tweet, you can shorten your links by using a site such as tinyurl or bitly. This enables you to provide great information about your eBook in the space you are allowed. You may also want to give out a sample chapter to your Twitter followers so that they can see if this is something they will be interested in purchasing. I recommend doing this while you are still writing, so that you will already have prospects when you are ready to make sales.
The combination of Facebook, Twitter, and your blog will give you the online presence you need in order to sell your eBook and become known to your target audience. By seeing your name in so many places, you will be able to attract new prospects and clients on a regular basis.
By getting involved in social networking right now, you will be able to position yourself as the expert in your niche. People will know who you are and associate you with your topic. There has never been a better time to be online than right now, and social networking speeds up the process of building your list and gaining the credibility and visibility necessary to sell your eBook and building your online empire.

Create Your Personalized social News Feed
Have you been having a frustrated relationship with social lately – mostly over their tendency to turn a new application or feature ON for everyone, and then make you spend precious time turning it off, blocking those crazy little applications, or hiding people’s updates on your News Feed?
What is the News Feed?
News Feed enables you to know all the events related to a social acquaintance. On your profile page, you will receive a “feed” of the newest events produced by your friends and social groups’ interests whenever you log in.
I really wanted to be able to personalize my News Feed, and show only those friends whose feeds I wanted to see when I log into my social account. The only obvious way to accomplish this was to click the ‘hide’ arrow on the right side of a feed for every social friend whose updates I did NOT want to include.
Very time consuming.
But I discovered there is a fast and easy way to create your own personalized social News Feed, and have it be the default newsfeed in your account.
If you’ve been frustrated by this as well, we have created a short video on our website showing you exactly how to do this in your social account. You will find the link to access it at the bottom of this article.
Here’s a Shortcut to Customize your social NewsFeed!
Another way to make sure you are seeing only the feeds of those whom you want to see is to create a special friends list with only those individuals in it.
Once you have that list, it will appear in the drop down menu on the left side of your page. Simply scroll down to it, grab it with your mouse, and drag it to the top of your left column. That becomes your new NewsFeed.

Can you give me tips on how to stop being such a loser?

Question by just a girl: Can you give me tips on how to stop being such a loser?
A couple of years ago I was really quite popular in my town eg. people would come up to me at parties to talk to me randomly or ask for my cell phone number, people told me how they desired my clothes, I would get lots of friend requests on social and people generally looked up to me for all the things I did in the community and at school.
However over the past two years, I literally lost most of my friends – for the sake of doing lots of extra-cirricular activities, school studying and because I was super competitive in both these areas.
Coming into this year I have realized I do not need to sacrifice social life which should never be neglected in any persons life – especially a teenagers. So I am trying to get back to my old ways while trying to remain balanced with school and other activities.
I feel as though there are several barriers stopping me and I am looking for tips for how I can get over these:
-my over competitive attitude
-my nerdy bahaviour eg. talking about topics my friends arent interested in.
-my negative attitude to life somethings
-always being tired
-stubborn and demanding
-most of my friends are boys and people mistaken this for being a slutty behavior
etc.
There are some good things about me too! (my opinion) 🙂 good fashion sense, good at meeting new people (however struggle to create a proper relationship), interested in lots of different things
No negative comments! This is just who I am, I enjoy having lots of friends and I want to set myself up for varsity next year!

people might just be busier. serious. world doesn’t revolve around you.
if you’re worried about creating meaningful relationships, then plan something and schedule it in. make gal dates or whatever. worry less; things you need to get done, will still get done. saying you’re competitive in other areas in your life is just an excuse. people have busy lives and maintain bonds just fine.

Saying “RSS Is Dead” Is Dead, Saying “RSS Is Not Dead” Is Not — Today.
Of all the tech echo-chamber arguments, one of my favorites has to be the “RSS is dead” one. Sure, perhaps I’m a bit partial because Steve Gillmor set the discussion in motion in May of 2009 for TechCrunchIT . But it’s still interesting to watch all the sides swarm around the topic. But what’s most interesting lately is how for every one person that busts out the death of RSS meme, a dozen …

How to Create a social Page For Your Business

How to Create a social Page For Your Business
A social profile is the social fun side of Facebook. Friends can update their status, share links, show you their new photos and know what you are up to. A social page is the commercial side of Facebook. This is where you can use your marketing expertise and generate as many fans as you would like. The business page should be kept separate from your social profile. Keep the topics related to your products, the benefits of your products and free valuable information for your audience. Knowing how to create a social page for your business will help keep you ahead of the competition.
In order to create a social page, click “home” on the top right. Under your profile picture on the right click “ads and pages”. Click on “pages” again then “create page”. Follow the guide on social in order to create your social page.
Make sure you have a great photo. This would be a great place to put your business logo. Update your information tab and be personable. If you want to have a lot of fans you will need to have unique content.
In the empty box under the photo, feel free to state the benefits of your products and add in your website.
The viral factor of social pages is what helps generate a great amount of fans. If one of your friends “likes” your page, it appears on their wall. Now their friends can see which group so and so joined and they will have a chance to check out the page and “like” it as well.
If you are really looking to generate leads from pages and do not want to spend time inviting new friends or do not have a valuable friends list then there is also an option to make the page into a pay per click ad. These ads are far cheaper than advertising on Google and it has become a very popular method for business owners.
There is also the benefit of being able to create custom tabs. Your social profile does not allow you to do this. A custom tab could have whatever you want on it. There are no limits. You could have an opt in form to your business products, a link to your webinars, a video of yourself introducing who you are and any other option that you would like. It is kind of like a mini website in Facebook.
With your social profile, you are allowed a maximum friend limit of 5000. This limit does not exist when you have a social page. Imagine having unlimited fans joining your page every day! Knowing how to create a social page for your business will help you generate quality traffic and buyers.
Good luck

Hi my name is Lark Miller and I am the creator of Honest Income Online. If you are anything like me.. you love the internet and making money. I am currently combining the two and changing my life.
I am a University Grad who has found my dream job in the world of work at home opportunities. I like to travel, try new things, be outdoors and I love animals! The reason I started this blog is because I was sick of my 9-5 job and working for someone else. For the longest time I felt I would never achieve my dream job.
All through university classes and exams I kept asking myself.. “What is it all for” ? I searched for any job related to my degree and the pay was always less than 40K/year. I knew I was worth more than that.
After doing the right research, and meeting the right people and my efforts finally paid off and I achieved success which puts me where I am today. I want to meet, network and give back to other newbie entrepreneurs who are in the same situation just like I was.
I encourage you to check out my website and hopefully my story will inspire you to discover your dream job. Good luck with your success!
