See How Easily 30 Minutes On social Can Create 30 Leads A Day
social let you connect new online friends and connections but it can waste a lot of your time. Are you a network marketer and then you waste 4 hours of your day on Facebook? That is not a Marketing Strategy, that is looking busy without action.
Serious online marketers do not have more than 30 minutes every day available that they can socialize on Facebook. Period. If you do, you are not very dedicated to marketing your business.
Here is a marketing plan that will teach you how to use 30 productive minutes each day on social and generate leads for your network marketing business. The secret to success is consistency. No strategy will work if you do not commit to it. So commit to use a specific time daily and just do it. Remember the Bunny and the Tortoise?
Step 1: Add a social friend
Search for any niches you are interested in. Join the group and evaluate the size of the group interested in the selected niche. Select friends in that group that you find interesting and write a one-line message to the invited friend. Make sure they know WHY you have requested them to be a friend e.g. “Hi Firstname, I see you are interested in horses. So am I. Lets connect.” A personal message to the friend you invite will dramatically increase your response rate. A link to your blog is one way to let the new friend know what you are all about.
Connecting is step one in a plan that you will follow and the result of the plan is a new sale or sponsoring someone into your business.
Step 2: Become real to your leads
Nearly 30% of all the prospects on your list will have a social account. Find these leads on social and request them to be your social friend and mention the fact that they visited your website recently. This is the connection.
This strategy will turn a cold prospects into a warm and buying prospect. This strategy will ensure the emails you send in your autoresponder will be opened and read first as you will now be a real person and a friend.
The internet is a busy place. It is not about selling anymore but about standing out above the marketing noise and reducing people’s fear to buy. People are scared of of scams. Of people lying to them. Of being caught out.
You will succeed in marketing if you can become a real person to your leads. Your social account is one way your prospects can see you really exist. Your social account gives you credibility. Your prospects will start to trust you as they learn about who you are.
Step 3: Hello to my new friend
Make a video to welcome your new social friend. Upload this video and add your new social friend as a video tag to appear on the news feed on their profile. The video will be like a “online” handshake. You will become very real to your leads.
Step 4: Make a happy birthday video
A birthday remains a special day for all of us. social informs you of a friend’s birthday. Use this information to stand out from the crowd by making a short video to give your friend your personal birthday message. Tag the video and friends of your new friend will also see the video. This technique will give you stacks of viral exposure.
Step 5: Create a group on Facebook.
Create a group on Facebook. A social group is like a virtual coffeeshop – a place where likeminded people come together to discuss similar interests. Make a space for prospects to connect and talk about a relevant topic. Use the group platform to show your value in terms of lead generation and marketing tips. Offer information about training and set up events. Your group interactions should display respect, leadership and value to your prospects.
Applying this blueprint will not take longer than 30 minutes. Again the crux is consistency.Ensure you do this every day..
I do not market exclusively on Facebook, but I use it in conjunction with my blog and my article marketing strategies. Doing a few simple things right will add a lot of great friends and give you the opportunity to convert many into leads.

Reunion briefings prepare Families for Soldiers’ return
Aug 19, 2010
By Jennifer Hartwig (3rd Infantry Division Ft Stewart)
FORT STEWART, Ga. – Soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division have begun to return to Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield and Kelley Hill at Fort Benning, after a year-long deployment. The initial reunion is full of hugs and happiness, but learning to be a Family again takes a lot of work.
There are always questions – will my Soldier be different? Will my Soldier still love and need me? Will my Soldier want to spend more time with battle buddies than his Family? When will things feel like normal again?
Whether a Family is going through the redeployment process for the first time or the fourth time, these questions are normal and come up with each deployment, according to Linda Moseley, Stewart-Hunter Army Community Service Mobilization and Deployment Manager.
Even if you’ve been to a Family reunion briefing in the past, Moseley said it is important to attend before your Soldier returns home this time, as well.
"We’ve been through so many deployments as a division so these Families, a lot of them, have been here for quite a few deployments," Moseley said. "But I think our approach now is multi-faceted – we’re offering so many more services through the new resiliency training, the new programs that are available through ACS. We’re using other programs and services as well as re-created a series of additional programs. ‘I think before it was simply a briefing and that was it."
Moseley said that this time around, there are many topics discussed in the briefings, and programs offered by ACS, that weren’t available in previous years.
"We talk more about intimacy and the relationship; we talk more about connections and connectivity between you and your spouse; and we talk more openly and freely about household problems," she said. "In the past, we’ve addressed domestic abuse or perhaps traumatic brain injury or PTSD, but [this time] we’re making it so it’s simply understood by every Family – that if you notice a change in your Soldier or yourself, then it’s easily identifiable, and you can seek help early on."
Each unit that is deployed has or will offer 9 or10 Family reunion briefings once the unit is within the 90-day window of returning.
The briefing touches on many of the major questions people have, and gives those in attendance tips on how to make the reintegration process less problematic.
The briefing, given by Moseley or another ACS mobilization and deployment specialist, teaches Family Members to have realistic expectations about how life will be once their Soldier returns, and to talk about what your expectations are before the Soldier comes home.
"Families have to get used to each other again," Moseley said. "Expect that things will be different than they were prior to the deployment."
One spouse, who attended a Family reunion briefing, July 23, was anxious to learn what to expect when her spouse returns from their first deployment as a couple.
"We’re learning how to cope with our spouses once they get back; the dos and the don’ts," said Frankie Andrews, wife of Command Sgt. Maj. Jesse Andrews, 3rd ID command sergeant major. Though it is not Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew’s first deployment, it is the first he and Frankie have been through together. "We’re learning the different symptoms our spouse may have; how to deal with drinking, anger, dealing with their children. We (each) need to be a good, understanding spouse; we need to be patient."
The briefing deals with health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse and depression, and how to recognize those symptoms in both your Soldier and yourself. Also discussed is how to deal with sharing of experiences – what do you do if your Soldier tells you too much? How do you deal with your Soldier if he or she won’t talk about their experiences at all? Moseley said that you need to work it out as a couple – discuss how much you want to know, and also realize that, though you don’t know their experiences for the past year, they don’t know yours, either. It will take time to adjust to being together day-to-day again, she said.
For those with children, ACS is offering – for the first time – child-specific programs during this time of readjustment leading up to the return of the 3rd ID Soldiers, including Sgt. Rocky’s Neighborhood, a puppet show that helps children deal with issues in an age-appropriate setting.
"We haven’t had many child-specific programs in the past, and this [redeployment] we have the Sgt. Rocky program, and for the first time we’re incorporating pets into the household," Moseley said. "A child receives and copes differently and so when we have these animated characters that come to life the parents enjoy how the material is presented and the children seem to absorb it better."
For one spouse, the topic of children was one that is especially important in her Family.
"(The topic) most important to me is I think the interaction with our Soldiers and children," said Cassandra Spaans, who has a five-year-old daughter with husband Sgt. Dean Spaans, Headquarters and Headquarters Services Company, Division Special Troops Battallion, 3rd ID. "I know how to deal with myself; sometimes you just don’t know how to deal with the emotions of the child and how they’re going to interact with the spouse and Daddy coming back."
Sergeant Spaans has been deployed for two-and-a-half of the past three years.
"This briefing isn’t just because that your spouse is coming back, it’s also giving information on how to deal with being separated for a year, and how to mold your lives back together," said Cassandra, who is the HHSC Family Readiness Group leader. "We’ve been living our separate lives, and we need to get back together, and this [briefing] is actually giving us ideas on how to do that."
Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield ACS is offering workshops for the 90-, 60- and 30-day intervals before homecoming. The ACS mobilization and deployment specialists want to ensure that everyone realizes that reintegration is a process for the Family as a whole.

social News Articles Online are ridiculous
Be careful what you post online, career counselors warn
NEW YORK (Reuters) People concerned about their careers should be extra careful about what they post on the Internet during a recession, career counselors say. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs and other venues present numerous opportunities to sabotage your hunt for a job or promotion at a time when employers can afford to be picky. “With social media, you can be vapid, boring and annoying with alarming frequency,” Patricia Vaccarino, owner of a Seattle public relations firm, warned clients in a newsletter. Vaccarino said many of her social friends have posted “in great detail about their colonoscopies, dead teeth pulled, dead dogs, flatulence, adult acne, marital breakups, battles with mental illnesses and drinking problems.” If this information can make friends cringe, she added, imagine the impression it would make on a potential employer.
Vaccarino is the poor decision maker here for outing her “friends” very personal struggles.
social has Privacy Controls …. You have many options on this topic
1. Let everyone view your profile,
2. Let only friends view your profile which Vaccarino’s friends probably had activated until she outed to the world they are a majority of them suffer from alcoholism or mental handicaps,(for someone who works at a PR Firm she should’ve known better )
3. Make your profile private to all….
Maybe would have been a better / informative article Yes social allows this….No one online would even know your account existed. Friends like Vaccarino could not look you up and then have a national interview and an employer would never know you went out drinking because your dog died, got in a fight and lost a tooth, showed up to work hung over, and crapped your pants. Yes social has this option .
If someone has a profile promoting illegal acts ( real Crime )on their social as an employee of an employer I would prefer that they not be hired. As an employee I say let them keep posting their Pit bulls, Drug Money, crack cocaine and Guns (more often found on MYSPACE which is outdated and littered with teenagers vs. professionals). The less guns and crack in the pocket of the guy next to me the better my workday will go. Professionals, young adults, and people with careers use social and Linked In. Maybe this article was aimed at teenagers looking for jobs at Supermarkets or Fast Food Restaurants. If so those kids from Dominoes with the YouTube Video are going to have a tough time finding another job, but do you really want them working in a restaurant making your salad?
